What is DentaCore?

DentaCore is a dental practice management platform that runs a clinic end to end: appointment scheduling, 3D dental charting, clinical notes, treatment planning, billing and insurance, dental lab cases, inventory and reporting. It runs in the browser and supports multiple branches under one account.

Who is DentaCore for?

DentaCore is built for dental clinics and dental groups that have outgrown a single-computer system — practices running several chairs, several doctors, or several branches, where reception, clinicians, the lab and finance all need the same patient record at the same time.

Does DentaCore support multiple branches and clinics?

Yes. One DentaCore account can run many branches. Patients, appointments, staff, inventory and reporting are scoped per branch, and role-based permissions control which branches and which data each staff member can reach.

What is a dental odontogram and does DentaCore include one?

An odontogram is a dental chart that maps the condition and treatment history of every tooth and tooth surface. DentaCore includes an interactive 3D odontogram: clinicians click a tooth surface to record findings or plan a procedure, and the chart keeps the full treatment history per surface.

How does DentaCore protect patient data?

Patient records are encrypted at rest, with the most sensitive identity fields protected by AES-256-GCM, and passwords are stored only as Argon2id hashes. Every security-relevant action — logins, record access, exports and administrative changes — is written to a tamper-evident audit trail. Access is controlled by role-based permissions with optional two-factor authentication.

Is DentaCore HIPAA and GDPR compliant?

DentaCore is built for HIPAA and GDPR obligations: encryption at rest, an auditable access trail, configurable retention, and right-to-erasure handled through de-identification with legal hold. The clinic remains the data controller for its patient data and DentaCore operates as a processor under contract. Compliance in practice also depends on how each clinic configures and operates the system.

What languages does DentaCore support?

The interface ships in English, Arabic and Kurdish, with full right-to-left layout support. Clinics can add and edit translations themselves, including entirely new languages, from the settings area.

Do patients get their own access?

Yes. Patients get a portal where they can see their appointments, treatment plans, invoices and documents, and message the clinic. Clinics can also run feedback and engagement campaigns from the same system.

How much does DentaCore cost?
